Fluvial Portuense got the advantage in the finals of the Portuguese Championship after beating Naval Povoense 13:12 yesterday. As expected, the match was marked by a great balance between the two teams and it was necessary to resort to penalties to have the winner since the match ended with 9:9.
The finals are based on the best-of-three system. The second game is on Saturday at 21:00, in Senhora da Hora and, if they win, Fluvial Portuense will get the trophy. Will there be a third match, the match on June 9, at Fluvial’s pool, will decide.
