The Hungarian League continued today, with the matches of the second round.
All favorites – Ferencvaros, Vasas, Honved, and Szolnok – recorded comfortable wins.
The most exciting duel of the day, was an encounter between Kaposvar and UVSE that ended in a 11:11 draw.

Reigning champion Ferencvaros visited Szentes and played with a rejuvenated team. Bence Haverkampf (16) and goalkeeper Sipos Bendeguz (19) debuted for “Fradi”. The reigning champion controlled the match and beat the hosts 12:7, with three goals from Nemanja Ubovic and Vendel Vigvari.
OSC Budapest recorded a convincing win, but the team coached by Daniel Varga couldn’t be happy with its defense. OSC beat Szeged 18:10.
Honved’s defense was excellent in a 17:5 victory over PVSK Pecs.
Vasas hosted Miskolc. After an 8:3 first half, Vasas slowed but increased the margin to six (14:8).
Szolnok was the only visiting team that collected three points today. The former European champion played against KSI, a returnee to the First League. At halftime, Szolnok was six steps ahead of KSI (9:3). KSI did everything to come back, but Szolnok controlled the game.
Both teams had ups and downs in the game Kaposvar – UVSE. The visitors from Budapest got off to a good start. UVSE led 4:1 at the first break. Even ten goals were scored in the second period, which belonged to Kaposvar. The hosts reduced the deficit, and UVSE had a slim 8:7 advantage at the middle break. Kaposvar opened the second half with two goals and took the lead for the first time (9:8). Still, before the final period, the sides were tied at 10:10. UVSE went ahead once more in the 26th minute (11:10). Kaposvar’s Langiewicz equalized at 11:11 in the 29th minute. It turned out that it was the final score.
