The best three Spanish teams – Barceloneta, Sabadell, and Barcelona – collected points with big wins in the 7th round of the national championships.
The derby games were duels Terrassa – Barceloneta and Mediterrani – Sabadell. But both matches turned into one-sided contests in which the visitors dominated.

Terrassa kept up with Barceloneta in the first ten minutes. The hosts leveled at 1:1, 2:2, 3:3. In the 11th minute, Terrassa trailed by one goal (5:6). Still, that was the end of an equal battle. Barceloneta scored six goals in six minutes and jumped to a 12:5 lead. Seven goals separated the rivals at the end of the match (16:9). Statistically, the man who made the difference was Barceloneta’s, Nikolas Paul. He was outstanding and netted seven goals.
Something similar happened in the encounter between Mediterrani and Sabadell. The game was an even contest until 3:3 (7th minute). Then Sabadell produced a 5:0 series for an 8:3 lead. Mediterrani scored its only goal in the second half in the middle of the third quarter. After that, Sabadell found the net six times and beat the hosts with a double-digit margin (14:4) to extended its winning streak to 7th victory.
All the field players of Barcelona got on the scoresheet in a 20:9 victory over Caballa.
Tenerife and Real Canoe played the most exciting game of the day. There were several turns in the first three periods. Tenerife entered the final quarter with a slim 8:7 advantage. The Canarians doubled their advantage early in the fourth period (9:7). However, Real leveled at 9:9 and again at 10:10. But, Tenerife scored the last two goals in the game for a 12:10 victory.
Mataro dominated throughout the match against Catalunya and earned the points with an 11:5 victory.
Sant Andreu defeated Rubi by four goals (10:6). Everything was decided in the second half. At the middle break, the sides were tied at 5:5. However, Rubi ran out of energy for the third and the fourth period.
