Favorites collected points with convincing victories in the 7th round of the Serbian League.
The derby was an encounter between reigning champion Novi Beograd and Sabac. The favorites from Belgrade celebrated a victory, but Sabac didn’t disappoint. Four goals separated the rivals – 13:9.

Novi Beograd and Sabac were in a good mood before the derby of the 8th round. On Wednesday, Novi Beograd convincingly beat OSC in the Champions League. At the same time, Sabac secured a solid advantage in the 1st leg of the LEN Euro Cup Round of 16 against Barcelona (13:10).
Novi Beograd led throughout the game, but the hosts kept up with the title-holder until the beginning of the third period when they trailed 4:6. The visitors, led by Dusko Pijetlovic, scored four unanswered goals and jumped to 10:4. After that, there was no way back for Sabac.
Partizan started badly in the match against Vojvodina, which was officially the host of the game, which was played in Partizan’s pool. The visitors from Novi Sad had a 5:3 advantage at halftime. However, Partizan dominated the third period and earned a 9:6 lead before the final quarter. In the end, the Black Whites recorded a 13:8 victory. Petar Kasum, Vojvodina’s best scorer this season, didn’t play in Belgrade. He left the club and is a free agent until the window transfer market.
First-placed Radnicki traveled to Belgrade to face Novi Beograd’s development team NBG Vukovi. Everything was decided after the first half. The visitors had an 11:3 advantage at the middle break. Radnicki slowed in the second quarter and let NBG Vukovi narrow the gap.
Crvena Zvezda demolished Proleter.
The duel between Valis and Nais turned into a flood of goals – 25:14. Valis dictated the pace, and almost every attack of the hosts’ finished with a goal.
