The big match of the day was an encounter between Panathinaikos, the 4th-placed team in Group A, and Panionios, which holds 3rd place. Panionios, the visiting team in this game, achieved a 12:8 win and increased its advantage in points ahead of Panathinaikos to eight points.

Panathinaikos dictated the pace in the first quarter of the derby against Panionios. The βgreen whitesβ led 3:1, 4:3, and 5:4. But, the visitors dominated the second quarter. They scored four unanswered goals and entered the second half leading 8:5. Panionios scored the only goal in the third period and came even closer to the visiting side at the beginning of the fourth quarter (7:8). Still, Panionios didnβt let them equalize. The visitors netted two back-to-back goals for 10:7 and extended the margin to four by the end (12:8). Gkiouvetsis, Gounas and Kapetanikis scored three goals each for Panionios. Albertis netted three for Panathinaikos.
Olympiacos, playing without Filip Filipovic, Andro Buslje and Marko Bijac, cruised to an away victory over AEK (20:7).
Chios defeated Ydraikos 6:4. The third quarter determined the outcome. The teams were in a neck-and-neck race until 3:3. Then, Chios netted two goals in a row for 5:3. In the fourth period, each team scored a goal apiece.
Ethnikos beat Nireas Chalandriou by seven goals (16:9).

Vouliagmeni got off to an excellent start in the derby against Peristeri and that put the hosts on the right track. Vouliagmeni led 6:1 in the early stage of the second quarter. Peristeri narrowed the distance before the middle break (5:7). Still, Vouliagmeni controlled the match in the second half and doubled an advantage β 12:8. Kalogeropoulos was the best scorer with four goals.
Apollon defeated last-placed Ilysiakos in a 29-goal match. Everything was decided before the middle break. Apollon, led by Nikola Bogdanovic and Emmanouil Solanakis, built a 10:5 lead in the first half. The visitorsβ defense weakened in the second half, but their win wasnβt in danger. Apollon recorded a 17:12 victory.
Something similar happened in Thessaloniki, where PAOK hosted Palaio Faliro. PAOK led 8:4 at halftime. The hosts slowed after the middle break and Palaio Faliro reduced the gap. Nikola Milradovic contributed to PAOKβs 12:9 victory with five goals.
Chania earned a valuable away win over Glyfada. The first two quarters and a half were crucial for the outcome. Chania took an 8:2 lead. Glyfada, led by Giannopoulos, started climbing back, reducing the gap to one goal (7:8, 9:10,10:11) but didnβt equalize.
