In the second period, the visitors increased their advantage by scoring two goals while the opposing team only managed to score one, resulting in a score of 3:5 in favor of Trieste at halftime. However, in the last period, both teams failed to score any goals, resulting in a final score of 6:9 in favor of Trieste.
