De Zaan are Dutch champions for the eighth time.
The side from Zaandam sealed the domestic treble with two impressive victories over GZC Donk , marking their first league triumph in over two decades.
Despite GZC Donk’s victories over De Zaan in the regular season, the team led by Mick van den Bree came out on top when it mattered the most. They held a six-goal lead heading into the final quarter in both games, leaving no doubt as to who deserved the title.
De Zaan’s success this season has been remarkable, not only in their domestic competitions but also in the Champions League, where they delivered strong performances against top teams like Terrassa, Glyfada, and Olympiacos. Many clubs are likely to be keeping an eye on their star players, including Kitty Joustra and Lieke Rogge.
