Radnicki kept its Champions League hopes alive. The Kragujevac-based side beat Partizan in Belgrade 11:8 in the second match of the third-place playoffs of the Serbian Championships. Radnicki leveled the score in the series at 1:1 and the third, decisive match will be played in Kragujevac.
The team that wins 3rd place will participate in the Champions League qualifications next season.

Encouraged by a 12:8 win in Hannover in the Champions League on Saturday, Radnicki played on of its best games in the last few months. The first half was an even contest. Partizan, led by Petar Smiljevic had a 1:0, 2:1, 4:3 and 5:4 lead. Still, the visitors had a 6:5 advantage at halftime.
Stanojevic doubled Radnicki’s lead early in the third quarter. Aleksa Ukropina, who was Radnicki’s power engine in this match, stretched the margin to three in the 21st minute (8:5). The visitors maintained the difference until the last break. Luka Pljevancic, who missed the game in Hannover and the first encounter with Partizan, scored an action goal in the 26th minute for 10:6 and the doors of the victory were open.
The third match is scheduled for Friday.
