Vouliagmeni has made their first major signing of the summer, bringing Dutch attacker Brigitte Sleeking to the Mikro Kavouri peninsula.
The 25-year-old is one of the most prolific goal scorers in the women's game, and returns to play in Greece having played in quadruple winning Olympiacos side during the 2021-2022 season. Sleeking spent the 2022-2024 campaign with her home club GZC Donk back in the Netherlands.
There was speculation that Sleeking might return to two of her former teams; either Sant Andreu in Catalunya or Olympiacos in Athens. In the end sleeking opted for Greece, but not Piraeus. Last season, Sleeking was in advanced talks with Alimos, but the deal ultimately fell through.
The Dutch International broke into the national team in 2018, and hasn't looked back since, winning medals at the European Championships (2018) and the World Championships (2022).
Sleeking is expected to be joined by another Dutch player in Vouliagmeni this season, with Kitty Joustra certain to join the Nautical Club.
