Amidst the ongoing surge in transfer activities another leading member of the Dutch National Team heads abroad to a big European club.
Maxine Schaap is on her way to Italy and Plebiscito Padova - a team who despite a poor season, remains one of the continents' top clubs. The 20-year-old has weaved her way in and around the Dutch national team over the past few years, and hopes her development will continue in the Italian League.
Schaap leaves De Zaan on a high, having won the domestic treble.
