Panionios continued bringing excellent reinforcements.
Today, the club confirmed that it had signed the contracts with two players who left Olympiacos – Konstantinos Mourikis and Achilleas Grammatikos.
There were a lot of signals that an experienced center-forward Konstantinos Mourikis (35), would return to Panionios, the club he played for between 2006 and 2011. He won 2nd place in the Euro Cup with Panionios twice (2009 and 2011). In 2011, Morukis moved to Olympiacos, where he stayed until today.
Playing for Greece, Mourikis won Olympic silver in Tokyo in 2021, the bronze medals at the 2015 World Championships and in the 2016 World League in 2016. He retired from the national team two years ago after winning the Olympic silver medal
He won numerous trophies in Greek competitions with Olympiacos and the 2018 Champions League.
Defender Achileas Grammatikos (20) was the world champion with the junior national team of Greece. He wore Olympiacos’ cap in the past three seasons. Before 2020, he played for Apollon Smyrnis.
A few days ago, Panionios confirmed that it had brought Aleksa Ukropina. Earlier, Nikola Moskov and goalkeeper Konstantinos Galanidis arrived at the club.
