Dusan Mandic, brothers Rasovic and Nika Shushiashvili departed from Novi Beograd, but it can happen that another great player will leave the Serbian champion.
Olympic champion Nikola Jaksic has several offers, but he still has a valid contract with Novi Beograd (until 2025).
However, Novi Beograd says it is ready to let Jaksic go if his new club pays compensation since he isn’t a free agent. The club is ready to negotiate. Dusan Mandic also had a contract until 2025, but Novi Beograd, Mandic and Ferencvaros reached an agreement, so the left-handed goal getter officially became Ferencvaros' player yesterday.
According to unofficial sources, several big clubs are interested in bringing Jaksic, including Pro Recco.
Jaksic won the Champions League once, playing for Ferencvaros (2019). After that, he played three finals in Belgrade but lost all three (2021 with Ferencvaros and 2022 and 2023 with Novi Beograd).
So far, Novi Beograd's has brought several reinforcements: Filip Filipovic, Marko Radulovic, Lazar Dobozanov and Milos Cuk
