[CONFIRMED] Lionel Messi to Barcelona

Multiple reports have emerged suggesting that the renowned global icon Lionel Messi is to join Inter Miami. However, it now appears that Messi will get his dream return to Barcelona. 

Messi's father and agent, Jorge Messi, has reportedly agreed terms with Messi to join Elvis Fatovic's ranks at Barceloneta. It is rumoured that Manuel Estiarte himself persuaded Messi to retire from football to take up a career in waterpolo. 

"After completing everything in football, it's now time for a new challenge" Messi said. "My dream would to play alongside Gonzalo Echenique at the World Championships in the Argentine national team." he added.
