Boris Vapenski is returning to Dinamo Tbilisi.
Despite attention from clubs in his native Serbia, Vapenski has opted to return to the Georgian capital for the 2023-2024 season.
Vapenski, 32, boasts an impressive track record, such as winning the Champions League with Crvena Zvezda and securing the European bronze medal with Serbia in 2010. After 40 caps with the Serbian national team, he opted to obtained Georgian citizenship, enabling him to represent the nation in international competitions. With Georgia, Vapenski appeared at the European Championships twice (in 2020 and 2022) and participated in the World Championships in Budapest last summer.
Prior to his stint at Brescia, Vapenski enjoyed spells at Vojvodina, Crvena Zvezda, Eger and Ortigia.
