European champion Pro Recco started presenting newcomers.
Today, Recco confirmed that Francesco Condemi (20) had become a new player of the officially best European club (and the best in the world).
Condemi arrives from Ortigia. He scored 64 goals in the last season. Currently, he is in Romania with the Italian U20 national team at the World Championships.
Last year, Condemi debuted for the senior national team, winning gold in the World League and 4th place at the European Championships. He was a member of the Italian junior team that clinched silver at the 2021 World U20 Championships.
Condemi’s mother Milena Virzì was a player of Orizzonte and the Italian national team.
So far, three players left Pro Recco – Luka Loncar (he will join Olympiacos), Alessandro Velotto (Marseille), and Pietro Figlioli (Savona).
Condemi is the first newcomer, but, of course, he won’t be the only reinforcement. Pro Recco is expected to confirm Konstantinos Kakaris’ arrival soon, but the list of additions won’t be concluded with Condemi and Kakaris.
