The tall figure of Edina Gangl returns to professional water polo and has joined Greek side PAOK.
Having taken a break to give birth, the former Hungarian international and Olympic Bronze medalist returns to the sport as a mother. Gangl, a three time Olympian (2012, 2016 and 2020) previously enjoyed success at UVSE (2007-2010 & 2014-2021) and Eger (2010-2014) before leaving Hungary to play for Glyfada since 2021.
At 32-years-old, and 181cm tall, Gangl is an experienced keeper at domestic and international level. Following her Silver medal at the 2022 World Championships in Budapest last summer, she made the decision to step away from the Hungarian National Team.
