Spanish champion Barceloneta, the bronze medalist in the Champions League,, confirmed the first acquisition for the next season.
Bernat Sanahuja, one of the best attackers on the Spanish national team, has officially joined Barceloneta.
In the past three seasons, Sanahuja (22) was one of the key players for the second-best Spanish club Sabadell, where he came from Terrassa.
Playing for Sabadell, Sanahuja won the 2022 LEN Euro Cup.
Last year, he achieved great success with the Spanish national team, winning the gold medal at the World Championships in Budapest and two bronzes (the World League and the European Championships). He was part of the Spanish national team that won silver at the 2020 Europeans.
Several players left Sabadell during this transfer window: Sergi Cabanas (Jug), Lluc Bertran, Ramiro Veich (both Bracelona), Dusan Banicevic (Spandau 04), Gerard Gil, Oscar Bladsco. However, the good replacements arrived.
