After a few days of mounting speculation, its finally confirmed: Ekipe Orizzonte have signed Chiara Tabani.
The 28-year-old Olympic silver medalist from Rio 2016 joins the Italian Champions from title rivals SIS Roma. She will need no time to fit in to a team that features a large number of the Italian women's national team.
The signing is a real coup for Ekipe, who will more than likely lose their two Australians Bronte Halligan and Alice Williams. The eight time champions of Europe are gaining an extremely solid all-round player who has made over 200 caps for her national team.
On the other hand, the departure is a blow to SIS Roma. Alongside the departure of Sofia Giustini, Roma have lost their two biggest assets.
