Dusan Matkovic, a Montenegrin Olympian, has completed his one-year spell at Barceloneta and will probably continue his career in France.
The 24-year-old is close to finalizing a deal with Noisy-le-Sec (Cercle 93), the second-best club in France.
Noisy has already signed Viktor Rasovic, who returned to the club after two years at Novi Beograd. Two players departed from the club - Drasko Gogov (Crvena Zvezda) and Antonio Petkovic.
Matkovic began his professional career in Primorac Kotor and moved to Barceloneta last year, where he clinched the Spanish League, Spanish Cup and the bronze medal in the Champions League.
He has been a regular member of the Montenegrin national team since 2021 and has played in the Tokyo Olympics, European Championships, and World Championships.
As for now, Barceloneta has confirmed the signing of Bernat Sanahuja from Sabadell as their new reinforcement.
