Panathinaikos has signed Benjamin Stevenson, Team USA's attacker from Team USA
Stevenson (28) has played in Europe for a while. Before joining Panathinaikos, Stevenson played for Posillipo Naples, a former European champion. Previously, he was a member of Glyfada, Mediterrani, Navara, and Olympic Nice. He has experience playing in the leagues of three continents. Stevenson won the national championships of Australia with Sydney Uni Lions five years ago.
He has claimed two silver medals with Team USA in the World League (2021 and 2022), took 6th place at the Tokyo Olympics and played at the last year's World Championships in Budapest.
Panathinaikos will have two foreign players on the team, including Stevenson, and Serbian goalkeeper Dimitrije Risticevic who has renewed his contract.
