The Netherlands are in a favorable position to at least equal their Bronze medal finish from last summer’s World Championships. With the exception of Rozanne Voorvelt and Ilse Koolhaas, who will not be participating this year, the entire team from that tournament will be returning.
The Oranges have been placed in Group B, alongside the reigning European Champions, Spain, as well as Israel and Kazakhstan. Their first match is scheduled against Spain on 16th July.
Preparations for the tournament will proceed as planned, with the Dutch team departing for Asia on Saturday, 8th July. They will continue their training and preparations in Bangkok, Thailand before proceeding to Japan on 12th July.
