Vouliagmeni have confirmed the contract extension of their young captain, Marina Kotsioni.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper, who has spent nearly a decade at the club, is an important renewal for the club in their latest drive to close the gap with Greek champions, Olympiacos. With the addition of Chrysoula Diamantopoulou, Vouliagmeni now have the best goalkeeper pairing in Europe.
With Vouliagmeni, Kotsioni lifted the 2019 Greek Cup. The club finished second in the Greek league last season.
In addition to Diamantopoulou, Vouliagmeni have added Kitty Joustra and Brigitte Sleeking to their impressive looking side for next season. According to multiple reports, the club is hoping to secure the future of Australian international, Amy Ridge, for the 2023-2024 season.
