Santa Cruz Tenerife Echeyde has secured the signing of 22-year-old American goalkeeper, Sophia Noble.
Following the acquisition of Maku Bello, Las Guayotas have bolstered their goalkeeping position with the addition of Sophia Noble from the United States. The 22-year-old goalkeeper, hailing from San Clemente, California, joins from the University of California Davis.
During her time at the San Clemente Institute and later at UC Davis, Noble established an impressive track record. She shattered the University's save record with 748 saves and received several individual accolades, including the UC Davis Sarah Sumpter Perseverance Award in the 2022-2023 season, selection to the 2023 College League Eastern Conference's best seven, and the title of College League Eastern Conference player of the week for February. Her leadership qualities were also recognized, as she received a leadership award last year.
