A Verdict of Unrivaled Dominance
Granados’s 2025 campaign was nothing short of a masterclass in offensive efficiency. He cemented his reputation as the continent’s most lethal attacker by finishing as the top scorer in the Champions League for the third consecutive edition. In the recently concluded 2024/25 season alone, he found the net an incredible 47 times in just 14 matches, proving that he can dismantle defenses with terrifying consistency. He also won the Spanish League and Cup.
The Golden Standard for Spain
While his club form was impeccable, Granados saved his finest moments for the Spanish national team. His 2025 international run was flawless, adding two major titles to a cabinet that already boasted gold from the 2022 World Championships and 2024 European Championships.
He was the driving force behind Spain’s victory at the 2025 World Cup, where his individual brilliance was recognized with the MVP trophy at the Final Eight in Podgorica. He followed this up with a legendary performance at the World Championships in Singapore. In the highest-pressure game of the year (the final against Hungary) Granados delivered a performance for the ages, scoring 5 goals to power Spain to the gold medal. With the World Cup and World Championship secured, the only major accolade eluding this generational talent is an Olympic medal, a goal that remains firmly in his sights.
