The last round of the regular season of the Spanish Championships offered no surprises.
Barceloneta finished the season with a convincing victory. Barcelona and Sabadell did the same.
Barceloneta mathematically had secured 1st place before the last round.
The crucial matches of the 22nd round were encounters Barcelona- Catalunya and Terrassa – Sabadell, as Barcelona and Sabadell were in a battle for 2nd place.Since both teams recorded wins, the distance between them remains the same. Barceloneta finishes in 2nd, winning one point more than Sabadell.
Barcelona and Sabadell will face off in the semifinals. Barcelona will have a home-field advantage. Barceloneta will play against Terrassa in the semis.

The reigning champion beat all three rivals with ease – Tenerife, Catalunya and Real Canoe to keep a perfect 22-0 record, with a +243 goal difference (365:122). Barcelona needed a win over the 9th-placed Catalunya to keep 2nd place. Everything was clear after the first quarter, Barcelona earned a 7:1 lead in the first quarter, which put it on the right track. Barceloneta doubled the margin in the remaining time (18:6).
Sabadell played a derby against Terrassa. Sabadell led for most of the time. Terrassa managed to equalize just once (5:5). However, Sabadell produced a 5:1 series and earned a solid 10:6 lead in the third period. Terrassa couldn’t come back once again.
5th-placed Mediterrani defeated Tenerife 8:6. Mediterrani earned a 5:0 lead at the beginning of the second quarter, which was vital for the visitors’ win.
