Barceloneta firmly holds first place in the Spanish league.
The reigning champion faced LEN Euro Cup semifinalist Barcelona in the derby of the 10th round. Barceloneta recorded a convincing 10:5 win. Barcelona suffered the first loss after eight wins and a draw.

Barcelona kept with Barceloneta in the first quarter. The hosts equalized twice (1:1, 2:2). After that, Barceloneta scored three goals and jumped to a 5:2 lead. Granados stretched the margin to four in the 18th minute (7:3) and there was no way back for Barcelona
Third-placed Sabadell trashed Real Canoe and came very close to Barcelona. Only one point separates the rivals now.
Terrassa defeated Sant Andreu in the game with many goals and turns.
Terrassa built a 3-goal lead in the second period (6:3), but Sant Andreu produced a 5:1 run by the end of the quarter and went in front (9:8). The big battle continued after a 3-minute break. Terrassa regained a lead (10:9). Sant Andreu leveled at 10:10, but Terrassa entered the final quarter with a slim 11:10 advantage. At the finish of the game, the hosts earned a 14:11 advantage and secured the three points.
Rubi beat Tenerife thanks to a big comeback. Tenerife, the home team, had a nice 6:2 advantage early in the second period. But, the visitors started coming back. Just two seconds before the last break, Rubi caught up with the hosts. Vasic found the net for 8:8. Rubi held Tenerife goalless in the final eight minutes, while it scored two goals for a 10:8 victory.
Mataro and Mediterrani achieved easy victories.
