Bernat Sanahuja comes to Sabadell

Spanish transfer market has „woken“.

Bernat Sanahuja, a defender of the Spanish national team, moved to Sabadell. He left Terrassa, which is one of Sabadell’s biggest rivals.

Sanahuja, who is one of the most talented players of today, won the silver medal with Spain at the 2020 European Championships. This season, he played the Champions League with Terrassa. He will turn 20 in October.

The Catalan Media Corporation (radio and television company) reported that Sanahuja’s contract with Terrassa would expire in 2021 and that he could leave by paying a clause of about 60.000 euros. However, Sanahuja accepted to pay that amount of money and he informed Terrassa that he won’t stay in the club, the CMC reported.

Sanahuja is Sabadell’s second reinforcement this year after Nemanja Ubovic arrived in the club from OSC Budapest. Sabadell finished the Spanish League in the 3rd place and it will play in the LEN Euro Cup.

Brescia, the second-best Italian club, announced that it had extended the contract with an experienced Christian Presciutti, who has been the team’s captain in the last few seasons. Nicollo Gitto, the 34-years-old defender, is Brescia’s newest addition. He comes from Metranopoli Milan (the club that played in the A2 League last season), where he spent one season. Earlier, he won 8 national titles and one Champions League trophy playing for Pro Recco. He has two Olympic medals with Italy (silver in 2012 and bronze in 2016) etc. Gitto is Brescia’s fifth newcomer, after Vincenzo Dolce (Sport Management), Angelos Vlachopoulos (Eger), Edoardo Di Somma (Pro Recco), Djordje Lazic (Szolnok).

One of the players who left Brescia during this transfer window is a 24-years-old Croat Antonio Buha. After a season in Brescia, he will continue his career in France. Buha moved to Strasbourg and joined Giuseppe Valentino and Sasa Misic, who have arrived in Strasbourg in the last few days. Buha came to Brescia last summer. Earlier , he played for Mornar Split and Vouliagmeni (Greece).
