Sabadell has confirmed the signing of American international Alex Bowen. The 30-year-old, who won a bronze medal at the Paris Olympic Games, joins from French side Noisy-Le-Sec.
Bowen has been playing in Europe for some time, and his transfer to Sabadell marks his participation in his sixth major European league. He previously played for Miskolc, Mladost Zagreb (where he won the Regional League in 2019), Apollon Smyrnis, Partizan, and his most recent club, Cercle 93 (also known as Noisy-le-Sec).
During his college career, Bowen scored over 200 goals for the Stanford Cardinal.
A three-time Olympian, participating in the Rio and Tokyo Games, Bowen's national team achievements with Team USA include the recently acquired Olympic bronze medal, two gold medals at the Pan American Games, and a World League silver medal.
Sabadell has also already secured the services of Italian Vincenzo Renzuto.
