SIS Roma, amidst a notable departure trend this summer, has officially announced their second signing of the season, although it can be more accurately described as a re-signing.
The club, which finished as runners-up in the recent Italian championship, revealed that Anna Gual will be returning to the team where she previously spent two seasons from 2016 to 2018.
Having spent the past three seasons with CN Mataro, Gual achieved significant success, securing both the Spanish Super Cup and the Copa Catalunya titles with the club. Prior to her tenure at CN Mataro, she also had stints at Mediterrani and Sant Andreu.
Gual's international career has been relatively limited, representing the Spanish National Team. Nonetheless, her participation in the 2017 World Championships in Budapest yielded a silver medal.
In addition to the acquisition of Gual, Roma has already confirmed the signing of Caterina Banchelli, the goalkeeper for the Italian National Team.
