Barcelona will reshape the team during the upcoming transfer market.

Sixteen players were on Barcelona's roster for LEN competitions in the season 2022/23. More than half of them are no longer Barcelona's players.
Barcelona announced that ten players had left the club and wished them luck in their careers.

Among them is the experienced leftie Blai Mallarach, who has long been a regular member of the Spanish national team and won the gold medal at the 2022 World Championships. Two players of Team USA, Marko Vavic and Luca Cupido, won't stay at the club. Australia's defender Tim Putt and Spaniards - goalkeeper Pau Vilar, Guillem Garcia, Oscar Asensio, Marc Frigola, Robert Lopez and Oscar Aguirre are also leaving.
Lopez and Frigola are going to study in the USA.

In addition, Barcelona is looking for a new coach. After three years on Barcelona's bench, Victor Gonzalez left the club. Gonzalez, who was at Barcelona ten years, will coach Mataro in the next season.

Four players renewed their contracts with Barcelona: Marc Valls, Pol Goma, Abel Ramon, Mario Lloret. The first addition should be Lluc Bertran (Sabadell).

Barcelona won 3rd place in the Spanish Championships. It played in the Champions League Qualifications. Barcelona hosted one of the tournaments in the Qualification Round 2, but failed to reach Round 3 and continued the European season in the LEN Euro Cup. Serbian Sabac was better than Barcelona in the LEN Euro Cup eight-finals.
