Immediately after his retirement as a player, Christian Presciutti started his coaching career.
Brescia’s long-time captain said goodbye to playing water polo after the Final Eight in Belgrade.
Today, he was appointed as the new head coach of Salerno, the club which finished 12th in the regular season of the Serie A1 and secured a spot in the First Italian League in the following season through the relegation playoffs.
Presciutti won the world gold medal, silver and bronze Olympic medals representing Italy. He, played for Roma, Camogli, Pro Recco, Cremona, Brescia. In the past ten seasons, Christian Presciutti was Brescia’s captain and led the team to the winning trophies in the 2021 Italian League and the 2016 LEN Euro Cup.
He accepted Salerno’s offer and will coach the team in the next season.
He will face a new coaching experience in just a few days. He will be an assistant coach of the Italian U20 national team at the World Junior Championships in Romania.
