Alimos NAC has wasted no time in bolstering their squad by officially announcing the acquisition of Dutch International Ilse Koolhaas.
The 25-year-old talented centre-back joins Alimos after a spell with Greek rivals Glyfada, having previously showcased her skills at another Greek club, Vouliagmeni.
Koolhaas brings a wealth of experience to Alimos, having represented the Netherlands national team on several occasions. Her notable achievements include contributing to the Netherlands' Gold medal triumph at the 2018 European Championships and participating in the Tokyo Olympics. While she also secured a Bronze medal with the Netherlands at the World Championships in Budapest last summer, she has not made an international appearance since then.
Alimos had a remarkable debut season in Greece's top flight, culminating in an impressive 5th place finish. With the upcoming 2023/2024 season on the horizon, the club is expected to further strengthen their squad by recruiting at least one additional foreign player.
