Apollon Smyrnis continues to build momentum ahead of the new season with the announcement of another quality player, Marios Kapotsis.
The 32-year-old Greek international, an Olympic silver medalist with the Greek national team in Tokyo, is the club's third summer signing. Kapotsis strengthens an already solid roster that has high aspirations for the upcoming season and beyond.
Kapotsis brings vast experience and reliability, having played with Olympiacos, Steaua Bucharest, and Vouliagmeni. His accolades include three Greek championships, four Greek Cups, two Romanian championships, one Romanian Cup, and two LEN Trophy finalist appearances.
Having already signed Marko Radovic and Kostas Limarakis, along with the appointment of Petar Radanovic as the new coach, Apollon is poised to improve on their 5th place finish in the Greek league this season.
