After twenty years since their last Italian Scudetto victory, Posillipo is building a team that might just bring the club closer to its glory days.
Serbian striker Marko Radulovic is the club's second summer signing, with the 23-year-old joining the Naples-based side from Serbian champions Novi Beograd.
Despite representing the Serbian senior national team, Radulovic was born in Primorje, where he began his career. The sharp-shooter moved to Serbia in 2018, playing for Vojvodina, Sabac, and then Radnicki, where he spent three seasons before a complicated exit led him to Belgrade to join the Novi Beograd project.
In 2021, Radulovic was a U20 World Champion with Serbia, a tournament where he was voted MVP. Among his senior national team highlights is being the top scorer for the Serbian national team at the European Championships in Split.
In addition to Radulovic, Posillipo has also recruited another well-known name from the Balkans: Montenegrin veteran Darko Brguljan from Primorje.
The 33-year-old returns to Naples, where he played for three seasons with Canottieri Napoli, having previously donned the colors of Primorac, Budva, and Waspo Hannover.
There are rumors that a return to Naples for Vincenzo Renzuto might also be on the cards—a signing that would further boost the three time Champions League winners hopes of European qualification in the coming years.
