Olympiacos has announced the signing of Greek national team goalkeeper, Panagiotis Tzortzatos.
With Marko Bijac moving to Jadran Split, Tzortzatos will have big shoes to fill in replacing the departing Croatian.
For the past five years, the 32-year-old goalkeeper has played for Vouliagmeni. Tzortzatos started his career at Panionios, where he played until 2014 before moving to Ethnikos. In 2018, he joined PAOK, and in the summer of 2019, he transferred to Vouliagmeni.
Tzortzatos, a Greek international, is a silver medalist from the recent World Championships in Fukuoka 2023. Olympiacos now has both of Greece's national team goalkeepers, with Tzortzatos set to provide competition for Manolis Zerdevas at both club and country levels.
