Radnicki have unveiled Serbian national team goalkeeper Radoslav Filipovic as their second summer signing.
Filipovic (27) grew up in Vojvodina, Novi Sad, and then spent three seasons in Sabac and one in Novi Belgrade, with whom he won the championship title and played in the Champions League final. He arrives at Radnicki after spending one season abroad in Romania with CSM Oradea.
With Branislav Mitrovic's retirement, Filipovic is in competition with Lazar Dobozanov for the first-choice cap of the Serbian National Team, coached by his new club coach Uros Stevanovic.
Speaking on the club's website, Filipovic said: "After a year abroad, I wanted to return to Serbia, and I always liked Radnički as a club. There were other options, but coming to Kragujevac was somehow the most beautiful story for me."
Filipovic emphasized that Europe is the main goal for the Kragujevac-based club: "In the upcoming season, we will go step by step. Our first goal is to qualify for the Champions League, and then to see where we are compared to the best European teams."
