Sabadell has officially confirmed that Dutch international Simone Van de Kraats has joined the club.
The 23-year-old left-hander, widely regarded as the best attacking player in the world, has made the switch from their arch-rivals, CN Mataro.
With this acquisition, Sabadell's already formidable right flank becomes unparalleled. The pairing of Judith Forca and Simone Van de Kraats is expected to be virtually unstoppable next season.
Van de Kraats arrived in Spain in 2021, following a stellar performance at the Tokyo Olympic Games where she finished as the tournament's top goal scorer. Over the past two years, she has consistently enhanced her reputation, securing the female Total Player Award in 2023. During this time, she has also been the standout player for the Dutch national team, which has captured gold both a world and a European championships.
Van de Kraats is not the only Dutch player making the move from Maresme to Sabadell; Laura Aarts has already joined the European champions, while Rita Keszthelyi will also transfer from Mataro to Sabadell.
