One of the best young Greek players, Sofia Tornarou, has rejoined Olympiacos after a season away at Ethnikos.
The 20-year-old, who played for the Red-Whites from 2020 to 2023, had an extremely successful first term at Olympiacos, winning two Champions Leagues, two LEN Super Cups, and three domestic league and cup doubles.
Last season at Ethnikos, Olympiacos' biggest rivals, Tornarou was pivotal in denying Olympiacos another domestic double, helping her team win the Greek Cup.
Tornarou has been a regular in the junior Greek national teams, winning silver medals at two World Championships (2022 & 2023). She has also made intermittent appearances with the senior national team, winning a silver medal at the European Championships in Eindhoven last January.
Following French goalkeeper Mia Rycraw, and Australian left-hander Abby Andrews, Tornarou is Olympiacos' third summer signing.
