Panathinaikos have bolstered their 2024-25 roster with the signing of Serbian center-back Viktor Rasovic.
The well-traveled 30-year-old, who has played for Crvena zvezda, Barceloneta, Jug, Szolnok, and Novi Beograd, will play in Greece for the first time, concluding his second stint in France with Noisy-le-Sec (2020-21 & 2023-24).
Playing for Serbia, Viktor Rasovic won the bronze medal at the 2017 World Championships and gold at the Europeans a year later, as well as several medals in the World League, World Cup, and Mediterranean Games.
With Rasovic joining the Athens-based side, that takes their Serbian tally to two players, with Serbian keeper Dimitri Risticevic currently at the club.Â
Panathinaikos are coached by Dimitris Mazis, finished fourth in the Greek League this season, qualifying them for Europe. They also reached the final of the Greek Cup.
