COVID-19 might have stopped sports in many countries, but we won’t allow it to stop the 4th edition of the Total Waterpolo Player Award.
Since many competitions were canceled in the last season, we decided that this is a great opportunity to reintroduce all the players who left their mark on water polo in the last 20 years.
This year, the Expert Jury and fans will have the toughest task so far – to decide who is the best among the Timeless Talents in the 21st century so far.
BEST TEAMS AND CAPTAINS
The voting system itself will be a bit different than before. Fans will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite player for each position. Winners will form the Total 7 Team and in the last voting round, you will be able to pick the Team Captain. Public Vote points will be added to the points from the Expert & Media Jury, determining the best male and female players in this year’s historic Total Waterpolo Player Award.
As is the case with any other individual trophy awarded in team sports, we expect disputes and disagreements regarding the candidates and winners. But our main goal for this year’s award is to introduce these talents to younger generations who are on their path to become legends themselves in the next 20 years. And of course, to refresh the memories of thosde lucky enough to have enjoyed their performance.
