One round before the end of the regular season of the Serbian League, itβs sure which team will finish 1st, but the battles for 2nd and 4th places are still open.
Crvena Zvezda earned an away 14:10 victory over Radnicki and caught up with the Kragujevac-based team in points.
Novi Beograd cemented 1st place with a convincing 19:8 victory over Partizan.
Partizan dropped to 5th place, behind Sabac, which beat Valis 19:12.

Radnicki was seeking revenge for the defeat to Crvena Zvezda in the semifinals of the Cup and three points, which would secure 2nd place before the playoffs for the Kragujevac-based side. The hosts had a slim advantage throughout the first half. A minute and a half before the middle break, Zvezda went ahead for the first time β 6:5. But the sides were tied before the third period. Radnicki took a 7:6 lead at the beginning of the third quarter. The Red Whites replied with two goals, but Radnickiβs leftie Ukropina leveled at 8:8. Then came the crucial minutes of the game. Radnicki wasted a few man-ups, while Crvena Zvezda produced a 3:0 run and gained an 11:8 advantage before the final quarter. Radnicki couldnβt come back. Moreover, Crvena Zvezda, led by Gavril Subotic (5 goals), increased the margin to four β 14:10.
Crvena Zvezda climbed to 2nd place. The teams are tied in points, but Crvena Zvezda won four, and Radnicki only one point in the encounters between these two teams (a league match in Belgrade ended in a draw). However, Crvena Zvezda will have a very demanding task in the last round when it faces Novi Beograd. Radnicki will play against Sabac on Day 14.
Novi Beograd, without Dusan Mandic, was too strong for Partizan. Nikola Jaksic was the best scorer (4 goals) in a 19:8 win.
Sabac beat Valis 19:12 and moved from 5th to 4th place. Sabac was the favorite in Valjevo, but it had big ups and downs. Sabac opened the match with a 4:2 first quarter. But, the visitorsβ defense weakened in the second quarter. Valis netted seven goals, conceding five, in eight minutes and leveled at 9:9 before the third period. Still, Sabac dominated the second half.
Sabac and Partizan have nine points each, but Sabac has a significantly better goal difference in the head-to-head matches, so it’s in 4th place now. Sabac will finish the regular season with a challenging home match against Radnicki. Partizan will be hosted by last-placed Valis in the 14th round.

The group for places 7th – 10th has finished. NBG Vukovi (the development team of Novi Beograd) and Vojvodina finished in 7th and 8th place, respectively and qualified for the quarterfinals of the playoffs. Proleter goes to the relegation playoffs. Nais is relegated to the second league.
