Greek champion, Olympiacos started composing a new team.
A 22-year-old Montenegrin Djuro Radovic signed a 3-year-contract with Olympiacos.
Radovic, one of the best young players in Europe, confirmed signing in an interview with the website Sport Klub. He was one of the leaders of Jadran Herceg Novi in the past few seasons. He won the gold medal in the 2018 World League and bronze at the 2020 European Championship playing for Montenegro. Last week, he clinched the Montenegrin championship with Jadran.
Djuro Radovic is the first, but he won’t be the only Olympiacos’ addition this summer. The Greek champion is in talks with Filip Filipovic. Serbia’s captain will resolve the question of a club for a new season after the end of the Hungarian championship with Szolnok. Two members of the Croatian national team are, also, on the list of Olympiacos’ potential reinforcements – captain Andro Buslje, who plays for Mladost, and goalkeeper Marko Bijac, whose contract with Pro Recco will expire at the end of the season. The two still haven’t finished national seasons with their clubs. After the playoffs of the Italian League, Bijac will play at the Final Eight in Belgrade.
