There will be four exciting and unpredictable encounters in the quarterfinals of the Euro Cup.
The quarterfinals draw took place today in Zagreb, with all teams in the same pot.
An intriguing matchup is set to take place between two clubs with rich histories: former European champions Vasas and Pro Recco. The Italians have performed excellently in both the Italian League and the Euro Cup, making them slight favorites. However, Vasas, the 2023 Euro Cup winner, demonstrated its strength in a convincing victory over Barcelona last night, showcasing that they have a good team.
Mladost will face Jadran Herceg Novi in a Regional League derby. Radnicki, which eliminated the 2024 Euro Cup winner Jug, will compete against Brescia, which had to dig deep to beat Hannover in the eighth-finals. Finally, the only semifinalist from the 2024 Euro Cup that advanced to the quarterfinals, Sabadell, will meet Montenegrin champion Primorac. The Spaniards won bronze last year.
