Three players of the Serbian national team have been infected by the coronavirus.
Serbia’s left-handed bomber Dusan Mandic has tested positive for coronavirus, his club Pro Recco announced in the early afternoon. After that, the Serbian Water Polo Federation announced that Andrija Prlainovic (Marseille) and Nikola Dedovic (Spandau 04), also, had tested positive.
The three showed symptoms after returning to Serbia from Debrecen, where they played for the national team at the World League Qualification Tournament (January 8-10).
Mandic and Prlainovic feel well, while Dedovic has a high temperature, the Serbian Water Polo Federation said. All three players will be in self-isolation in the next two weeks.
