The favorites continued to dominate the Croatian League. Four matches of the second round were played this weekend, with all teams in blue caps achieving convincing victories.
Reigning champion, Jadran, beat Mornar 18:12 in the Split derby. Jadran took control from the very beginning and earned an early 3:0 lead. Mornar reduced the gap to 2:3, but Jadran answered with a new 3:0 run, jumping to 6:2. From that point on, the difference was never smaller than three goals. Loren Fatovic led Jadran with five goals.
Mladost earned a 13-goal victory over KPK in Korcula, 19:6, with four goals from Matias Biljaka.
Jug, playing without first goalkeeper Popadic, beat Zadar 23:13. Young Mario Susic was Jug’s top scorer with five goals, while David Babic scored five for Zadar.
Primorje ran over POSK. Marko Radulovic contributed six goals and Tin Brubnjak five to a 23:6 victory.
