Three one-sided contests and one very thrilling match were played in the morning session of the second day of the Champions League Qualification Round 1.
Mladost Zagreb added its second win at the tournament in Herceg Novi, beating EVK Zaibas 15:7. After a big battle, KVP Novaky (Slovakia) and ENKA Istanbul (Turkey) shared the points β 11:11.
There were even 79 goals in the first two todayβs matches in Group D. Host Tourcoing beat Banja Luka with a 39-goal difference (41:2). Panionios sank KVIK KAsturp (34:2).

Mladost needed some time to get on the scoreboard, but it had a 3:0 advantage at the first break. The Croats went to 4:0 and 6:2 in the second period, and they knocked down the rival during the third quarter.
KVP Novaky and ENKA were in a neck-and-neck race for most of the match. Two and a half minutes before the middle break, the Slovaks built a 2-goal lead for the first time (8:6) and maintained the difference for more than 16 minutes. In the 30th minute, Novaky led 11:9. ENKAβs Baskaya converted a man-up with two minutes and four seconds to go. Just 30 seconds after, Paolo Obradovic leveled at 11:11. Both teams missed their last chances to secure a win and shared the points.

Favorites for the top spot in Group D chased goal difference. From the beginning of each game it was clear that an underdog had no chances, but Panionios and Tourcoing didnβt want to stop until the final buzzer.
Panionios didnβt concede a goal until the 29th minute.
Banja Luka scored its first goal against Tourcoing early in the second half.
