Only five of eight games of the 7th round of the Greek League were played last weekend.
Two matches have been postponed due to the Greek clubs’ participation in the LEN Challenger Cup, while one game wasn’t held because the visiting team didn’t show up.

Panathinaikos – Ydraikos postponed
Olympiacos continued beating domestic rivals easily. After the first quarter, it was clear that reigning champion Olympiacos would beat the record-holder by the number of titles Ethnikos convincingly. Centre-forward Konstantinos Mourikis led Olympiacos’ attack with four goals.
AEK and Panionios fought a balanced battle in the first quarter. Panionios had a slim 6:5 advantage at the middle break. However, the hosts’ defense, commanded by goalkeeper Limarakis, was outstanding in the second half. AEK couldn’t find the net in the second 16 minutes. Panionios collected the points with a 10:5 victory and continued its winning streak that has lasted since Day 2. Panionios opened the season with a convincing loss to Olympiacos, but it has achieved six wins after that,
The game Chios – Nireas Chalandriou wasn’t played because the visiting team didn’t come to the game. Therefore the Greek Swimming Federation will decide on this match.

Vouliagmeni – Apollon postponed.
Chania recorded its first win in the season, beating Ilisiakos, which is still with no points. Chania, the visiting team in this match, led by Aria Soleimanipak (6 goals) had a 9:5 advantage in the middle of the third period. The hosts halved the deficit early in the fourth (7:9). Still, Chania went to 10:7. Ilisiakos continued its chase, but it just reduced the gap to 9:10.
Peristeri played excellently in defense in beating PAOK 7:4.
Glyfada dominated the match against Palaio Faliro. The visitors were three goals down at halftime, and they couldn’t get back into the match.
The duel between the unbeaten clubs Vouliagmeni and Apollon has been postponed because Apollon played in the LEN Challenger Cup last week.
