There haven’t been many water polo games in Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro this week. A lot of matches have been postponed because of the corona cases at the clubs. The Montenegrin championship was scheduled to start this week, but both games were postponed.
2020/21 Serbian League, Day 6
Novi Beograd – Stari Grad 27:6 (6:2, 8:1, 6:2, 7:1)
Banjica – Radnicki 7:20 (1:6, 3:6, 1:6, 2:2)
Nais – Zemun 8:8 (1:2, 2:1, 4:2, 1:3)
Partizan – Vojvodina 7:9 (2:1, 2:1, 1:3, 2:4) – played on November 10
Crvena Zvezda – Sabac postponed
The big match of the day Crvena Zvezda – Sabac has been postponed because several players f Crvena Zvezda caught the virus.
Radnicki, which will play in the Champions League Qualifications next week, stormed past last-placed Banjica. Several most experienced players of Radnicki missed this match, and Marko Radulovic was the best scorer in the winning team with five goals.
The league leader Novi Beograd found it easy to beat Stari Grad. An experienced Marko Avramovic and Nika Shushiashvili scored four goals each. Georgia’s Shushiashvili, who arrived from Dinamo Tbilisi, debuted for Novi Beograd in this match.
Nais and Zemun shared the points in a very interesting game.

KPK Korcula – Primorje 8:16 (3:5, 1:3, 1:5, 3:3)
Croatian Water Polo Federation had to make a lot of changes in the schedule because of the epidemic situation.
In the first match this week, POSK beat Zadar for the first win in the season.
On Sunday evening, KPK Korcula hosted Primorje and played its first home match in the Croatian League. But, the hosts didn’t celebrate. Primorje jumped to a 4:0 lead after less than four minutes of play. Until the end, the Rijeka-based team doubled a distance.

2020/21 Montenegrin League
The league was supposed to start this week, with matches Jadran HN – Budva, and Primorac – Cattaro. But, both games have been postponed. A few players of Budva and Cattaro were positive for coronavirus.
The league will be played in a quadruple round-robin format (12 rounds). After the regular season, the playoffs will be played. All four teams will take part in the playoffs. The best team in the regular season will face the 4th-placed team in the semifinals, the 2nd-placed and the 3rd-placed will meet in the second semifinal pair.
