FINA TV, the platform for live streaming of FINA events in all aquatic sports, will no longer be active as of April 30.
It is a subscription channel owned by FINA that was founded ten years ago. Over 300 hours of live competitions were broadcasted in the past ten years, including FINA World Championships, FINA World League, FINA Olympic qualifications… The first competition broadcasted on FINA TV was the 2011 World Championships in Shanghai. Besides, subscribers can browse archived content from the last three FINA World Championships and other tournaments. But, this content won’t be available on this channel from May.
FINA TV is available on PC/MAC by visiting the website and by downloading the apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.
Today, FINA informed all subscribers by official mail that the platform will stop working at the end of April.
“Despite this news, FINA remain absolutely committed to bringing our fans the very best competitions that our Sport has to offer on Digital as well as with our brilliant Broadcast partners”, FINA TV wrote in the official mail.
As it was announced, FINA will soon publish information on how fans of aquatic sports can continue to watch FINA competitions online – live and on-demand.
