The best two German clubs Spandau 04 and Waspo 98 Hannover beat their respective rivals with ease in the 10th round of the national championship. Hannover even posted two wins this weekend (besides the match of the 10th round, Hannover played a postponed match).
Esslingen surprised defeated ASC Duisburg in the most exciting match of the round.

Reigning champion Spandau visited Hannover to face newcomer in the Pro A League White Sharks. The Berliners cruised to a win. At halftime, Spandau led 11:2. In the second half, the visitors increased the margin to 12 – 17:9.
Waspo Hannover trashed OSC Potsdam 20:9 in the match of the 10th round, and a day later, it found it easy to beat Neukolln in Berlin – 19:8.
After a lot of twists and turns, Esslingen edged out ASC Duisburg in the match played in Duisburg. The winner was decided in the last quarter. After the third, the score was 8:8. Esslingen built a 2-goal advantage (11:9) with 03:14 minutes to go. But, Dusiburg responded quickly, with two goals in a span of 39 seconds and leveled the score – 11:11. Just 20 seconds from the end, Esslingen’s Robin Rehm netted a winner and the visitors celebrated a 12:11 victory. The hero of the match was 18-years-old Zoran Bozic, who scored six goals for Esslingen
Esslingen ended its winless run, which lasted four months. Esslingen water polo players have only two wins this season.They defeated Ludwigsburg in the first round and after that, suffered eight losses in a row.
